Composite Fillings
|
| Composite fillings are strong, mercury free and present a bit of sealant to prevent futher decay. Composite fillings are considered "white fillings" or "porcelain fillings". We call them tooth-colored fillings to distinguish them from amalgam, gold, and temporary filling materials. There are a number of different formulations of composite filling, but the type most commonly used today is made of microscopic glass, or porcelain particles of varying shapes and sizes (depending on the intended use) embedded in a matrix of acrylic. The glass particles account for between 60% and 80% of the bulk of these materials, so these restorations could more properly be called Porcelain Fillings. | |
In house crown and bridge |
|
| Cerec is an all porcelain veneer or crown that is made on-site for in-house crown and bridge second day restoration. We utilize laser technology to measure chroma, hue and translucency in order to perfectly match the color of the patient's teeth to the new crown. The digital data bank by Vita is one of the leading manufactures of porcelain. | |

Bone Grafting |
There are many different techniques for bone grafting whether it is autologous (patient’s own bone), an allograph (bone from a donor bank), or sinus augmentation, where the sinus is lifted to stimulate bone production, if there isn't enough on the top arch. There is also ridge splitting which allows arch widening. Even though there are many options for bone grafts, we prefer to utilize a patient's own bone if possible.
